At Learning Quest Academy, we believe education should be as unique as each child. Our Philosophy
At Learning Quest Academy, we value thinking, creative space, play, family, and educational choice. Our goal is to see children thrive on their learning paths with the use of learning plans and individualized instruction. Learning Quest Academy values outdoor and nature-based learning where our students are engaged in outdoor exploration, projects, and giving back to the community.
Our greatest desire is to see the joy of learning sparked in each child so he/she can become a lifelong learner through curiosity, creativity, and personal pursuits. We strive to be a safe, fun place for families to learn, grow, and play. The mission of Learning Quest Academy is to provide children with the creative space to learn a variety of interesting and inspiring lessons so that each child will grow in creativity, confidence, and wisdom. Through hands-on, interest-based instruction and a variety of programs, our focus is to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all students while providing a positive and safe environment. Students have opportunities to help others and be of service. We provide a variety of learning opportunities so students can work in different ways while using their strengths.
Ahjanea Walker
Meet Ahjanea, a dynamic educator with a passion for empowering young minds. Graduating from Southern New Hampshire University with a management degree, she brings a unique blend of academic knowledge and real-world experience to her teaching practice. As a homeschooling mother of five, she intimately understands the diverse needs of today's families.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Ahjanea is dedicated to providing exceptional educational opportunities. In January 2021, she founded Learning Quest Academy to offer families an alternative learning solution during uncertain times. What began as high-value online classes has evolved into a thriving local micro-school, driven by Ahjanea's unwavering commitment to student success.
Ahjanea's teaching philosophy is rooted in a deep desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners. She believes in creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can flourish academically and emotionally. Witnessing the spark of understanding in her students' eyes as they grasp new concepts brings her immense joy and fulfillment.

Learning Quest Academy Online Classes
At Learning Quest Academy Online, we instill a love for learning through fun, interactive content that keeps your preschooler engaged and excited about education! Our live online classes are designed for children ages 3 to 5 and are carefully structured to foster the skills they need to thrive in kindergarten and beyond. With small class sizes of just six students, your child will receive the personalized attention they deserve from caring, experienced teachers.
Our primary goal is to take your child on a quest for knowledge, using fundamental activities that are not only educational but also fun! We ensure every lesson feels like a new adventure, capturing your child's imagination while building the essential skills needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of the Spanish Lake neighborhood, Learning Quest Academy offers a cozy and inviting learning environment within a charming single-family home setting. Nestled just a few blocks away from Larimore Elementary School, our program provides convenient access for families in the area.
One of the unique features of our location is its proximity to nature. Our students can enjoy the beauty of the outdoors with regular nature walks, thanks to the nearby Spanish Lake Park. Just a short stroll away, this picturesque park offers ample opportunities for exploration and outdoor learning experiences.
